Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Following the Congress of RtDE held on the 11th of December in Brussels we wanted to contact all the Organisations to advise you of the following:

Our President Aycke Smooke and Treasurer Hugh Wynne are stepping back from their positions on the Board. After much discussion it was agreed that a further meeting of RtDE was needed to decide on the new President and Board of Directors. In the interim period a ‘Board in Functions’ agreed to take forward this plan.

I am very happy to tell you that as President of and on behalf of Friends at the End SCIO ( FATE) I wish to invite you all to a meeting in Edinburgh on the 27th of June 2020. Please make a note in your diary for that date. A formal invite will come soon.
