As you might know, Right to Die Europe is in the position to engage within the Council of Europe (CoE).
This is done through participation in the Conference of International NGOs (CINGO).

This CINGO is the body of the Council of Europe which brings together all international NGOs with “participatory status”. (This status is granted by the Secretary General and is regularly revised.)
The CINGO currently brings together more than 300 international NGOs working together to:
• strengthen European citizens’ access to human rights
• protect democratic values ​​and systems based on the Rule of Law.
As a representative body, the CINGO constitutes an institutional connection between the Council of Europe institutions and more than 800 million Europeans. Through the CINGO, the Council of Europe recognises a vibrant, pluralistic and dynamic civil society to be an indispensable actor of the democratic system, aiming to safeguard a civic space, acting for open, diverse and inclusive societies and accountable governments.

Twice a year the CINGO gathers in Strasbourg, for a week of sessions about human rights issues.

The 2026 Spring session was held from 14 to 17 april.
